CLUTCHES
Bondioli & Pavesi manufacture a large range of clutch options which provide security and safety to operators and to the machines to which they are fitted.
On offer are Friction Disc Clutches, Overrun Clutches, Combined Friction/Overrun Clutches, Shear Bolt Clutches and our LR Automatic Limiters.
The Automatic Torque Limiter Clutch will interrupt power transmission in the event of torque peaks which exceed the preselected torque setting. Having interrupted the power transmission, the clutch is designed to automatically re-engage after the removal of the cause of the overload. These clutches are ideal for use in drilling, boring, conveying or on rotary hoes, power harrows, balers, slashers and feed mixers.
YOKES
All Bondioli & Pavesi Yokes are manufactured from high quality steel and built to withstand sideways flexing force which occurs under load. This stiffness is essential to the proper performance and long life of the universal joints.
The standard Push Pin Yokes have a shrouded casting around the push pin to provide extra safety for operators by eliminating risk of clothing being caught.
Ball Collar Yakes have the added advantage of having 3 locking points and the ease and convenience of the pull back style collar.
Tapered Bolt Yokes are primarily used to attach to implements and eliminate movement and so reduce wear and tear.
Taper Pin Yokes
- Farm implements are supplied with a drive line attached and built for the specific application. For this reason yokes are commonly coupled to the implement shaft with semi-permanent type of connection. These types of connections usually require tools to install and disconnect.
- Tapered Pins provide a fixed coupling between the yoke and the PTO.
- Tapered Pin yokes are intended for use on the implement end of primary driveline ie tractor to implement.
- These yoke can also be used on one or both ends of the internal drivelines of the implement.
- The tapered shape of the pin fits snugly into the annular groove of a splined shaft, reducing play between the spines to a minimum.
Push Pin Yokes
- These yokes provide sturdy and reliable coupling to PTO or implement shafts.
- The push pin mechanism is easy to use, no tools are required.
- The pin is shrouded by the hub’s rounded profile giving safe an easy access as recommended by international safety standards.
Ball Collar Yokes
- The ball collar yoke make it easy to connect (or disconnect) the yoke to the PTO or implement quickly and without the use of tools.
- Coupling is secured by hardened balls or spherical pins that engage the annular groove in the spline shaft. A spring loaded collar controls the radial movement of the balls or pins.
- The coupling elements are arranges symmetrically to distribute thrust forces.
Constant Velocity Joints
- Constant Velocity (CV) joints were first widely used in agricultural applications during the 70’s. These joint increased the efficiency of towed implements by reducing or eliminating problems associated with unequal joint angles during turns.
- CV joints allow better manoeuvrability in the field
